Anna + Shay
Samantha Wilson, of Metepenagiag Miꞌkmaq First Nation, is the owner of Anna + Shay, near Stanley. As a new Mama and while pregnant she did a lot of reading about babywearing. The benefits were so amazing, and she knew it was something she wanted to do. When her daughter, Anna was born, She tried a lot of baby carriers available. However, it was the sling that won over her heart. She loved that it was quick, easy, so cute and she could be close to her baby, she just couldn't justify the steep price of the slings in the city. That's when she decided to create Anna + Shay. She has set out to make safe, practical slings while maintaining a beautiful sling to wear at an affordable price. All are handmade and heartfelt in Stanley, New Brunswick.
