What started as a hobby quickly became a business called Baby Barn Fabrics. Rita Martin, of Eel Ground First Nation, started her business over 15 years ago! She purchased a baby barn and retrofitted it to be a shop. She brought in and stocked fabrics such as cotton, batiks, batting, etc. She had rotary cutters, sewing scissors, seam rippers, borders, panels, irons and sewing machines. She now offers ribbon skirts and regalia-making classes. She was able to bridge the gap with her people and culture. She has made considerable accomplishments in her career and is proud of her business.

Baby Barn Fabrics offers a great selection of 100% cotton quilting fabrics, assorted coloured beads, and cones for jingle dresses, ribbon skirts and shirts. Everything you need for quilting & beading, thread batting & backing, rotary cutters & rulers, cutting boards & blades
