Milliea's Woodwork

Tony Milliea, of Elsipogtog First Nation, started his woodwork in 2016 when his wife gave her hall table to their son and wanted another, so Tony decided to make her a new one. At the time, he only had a hand saw and a screwdriver but it only took him a few hours to make. He then told her he should make another one and sell it on Kijiji just to see. Right away he received hits on the ad, so he made 20 more in 2 weeks. After he sold the first five, he was able to buy a cordless drill and a mitre saw then it kind of evolved into making other tables and signs. Tony now loves making affordable solid wood furniture that lasts a long time for his customers.
