Naturally You Hair Studio
Stephanie Boomer, an off-reserve member of Kingsclear First Nation, enrolled in the Atlantic Hairstyling Academy in 1999 and graduated in June 2000.
After completing her studies, she started her career at a chain salon in the mall, staying for a year, then moving on to a barbershop on the military base in Oromocto to expand her expertise in men's haircuts.
Stephanie took a two-year break after having her first child. She then resumed working in a salon setting, doing family hair services for a decade.
In 2014, she obtained a mobile hair license. She started offering haircuts and colouring services on the road while working two days a week at Parkland Shannex retirement home.
Feeling the strain of lugging around 4-5 bags of products and tools and with COVID restrictions/sickness, Stephanie decided to open her own studio. In 2022, she opened Naturally You Hair Studio, on Fredericton’s south side, with a focus on personalized, one-on-one hair services.
Stephanie now has a bigger space on the north side. She provides a fun, professional and attentive environment for her clients.
