North Tay Meats and Nursery
Owned & operated by Nacole Charlie of Sto:lo First Nation in Bristish Colombia.
North Tay Meats & Nursery is a small, Indigenous-owned farm located in Central New Brunswick. We specialize in pasture-raised meats, heritage-breed poultry, and hardy nursery plants suited for our local climate. Our lambs are raised naturally on pasture and sold whole or by the cut, offering customers high- quality, ethically raised meat. We also raise pasture-raised chickens and heritage layers for eggs and meat.
In addition to livestock, we grow and sell a variety of native and edible plants, including blackberry bushes. We’re currently expanding our nursery offerings to include a broader range of fruiting shrubs, perennials, and trees to support local biodiversity and food security.
Our farm also features a small vineyard, where we are beginning to explore cold-hardy grape varieties suited to our region.
Everything we produce is rooted in respect for the land, traditional knowledge, and a commitment to sustainable, local food systems. We proudly serve our local community and welcome customers who value transparency, ethical farming, and high-quality, homegrown products.
