Forage & Feast
Chandra LeBlanc (Larry) is a proud Mi'kmaq mother from Natoaganeg First Nation and has called Metepenagiag First Nation home for the past seven years.
Chandra is a Certified Outdoor Council of Canada Field Leader (Hiking & Winter) and holds an Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certification (CPR/AED Level C). Raised by the river, surrounded by forests and gardens, Chandra developed a deep-rooted love for nature, culture, and community. That connection inspired her to create Forage & Feast — a space to both learn from and share knowledge about the land, its people, and the rich world of plants and fungi that thrive here.
Outside of Forage & Feast, Chandra can often be found wandering the riverbanks and local forests, working as an Administrative Assistant at Metepenagiag School, or simply enjoying time with her family.
Founded in 2024 Forage & Feast was born from a deep passion for the wild foods that grow all around us. At Forage & Feast, we believe in sharing knowledge that connects people to the land. Through our guided walks and handcrafted goods, we teach the importance of sustainable harvesting, how to identify both edible and toxic plants and fungi, and explore the medicinal and culinary uses of what nature provides.
