Glowing Igloo

Christine Gautreau is from Nunatsiavut. She learned her skills by trying to reconnect to her culture by immersing herself in cultural materials. She had made jewellery for years but has reached out to other Indigenous artists for guidance and recently began using more natural materials such as sealskin, leather and sinew to complete projects.

Glowing Igloo, located in Dieppe, NB, offers authentic Inuit-made accessories made of sealskin, fur, leather and beaded products that can ship in Canada.
