Nitap Technologies is an Indigenous owned IT and cybersecurity consulting firm based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Founded by Dustyn Martin Ross of Gesgapegiag First Nation, Nitap Technologies helps organizations and government clients protect their technology, data, and people.
The name Nitap means “friend” in Mi’gmaq, reflecting the company’s approach as a trusted partner in technology, cybersecurity, and good governance. Nitap specializes in helping organizations understand cybersecurity risks, strengthen their protections, meet government security standards, and support data sovereignty.
Services include flexible part time cybersecurity leadership, security assessments, compliance support, data sovereignty planning, and practical cybersecurity strategies. Dustyn brings extensive experience in cybersecurity, including work with Deloitte Canada, an MBA in IT Management, certifications in security, risk, and project management, and experience teaching IT and cybersecurity at JEDI.
